"Washington Roman Pictures Network,” a web based network created by Roman Pictures, is proud to announce one of it’s new regular programs, entitled “WRPN News,” hosted by Roman Pictures’ “Best Of the Best” actors, Sharon Carpenter-Rose and Kevin Troy.

WRPN is a web network created by Roman Pictures, aimed specifically at reporting on the latest activities of the Roman Pictures production team, as well as some general entertainment news in the DMV area: “A lot about us, a little about you.” WRPN News is one of the many programs that will be shown through the WRPN network WRPN will be presenting several informational segments, each with their own designation: for example

WRPN Discovery for entertainment news items outside of the RP production realm

WRPN Science, for interviews explaining the techniques behind the science props in RP movies and story basis explanations from our engineering technical advisors

WRPN FX for interviews explaining Roman Pictures’ visual effects arts, and many many others….

Broadcasts will include preliminary clips from movies we are currently producing: “Time Refugees,” “Signals 2” (the sequel to the award-winning “Signals” TV pilot), the psychological thriller “Second Time Around,” as well as our local talent competition webisode, “So You Think You Can Act,” and our new festival based in Los Angeles and New York (limited engagements in other cities), the “Depth Of Field International Film Festival” (dofiff.com).

Behind-the-scenes clips and interviews with various production specialists on the Roman Pictures team (set construction, visual techniques, etc.) will be included as well.

We will also highlight actors on our “Best Of the Best” list, bringing them into the studio so we can all find out more about them and their acting career.

In addition to our own activities, WRPN News will bring special guests into the studio to interview from time to time, as well as travel to special entertainment oriented events in the DMV area.
