The Signals Hollywood premiere at the NYIIFVF was an absolute success.

During the opening night at the Cabana Club, we worked very hard promoting Signals and, by we, I mean, my Assistant Producer/actor, Sharon Carpenter-Rose, Assistant Director/actor Tracy Roman, Makeup artist Elisabetta Canova, PR and actor Kevin Sylvain, Actress Deirdre McCullagh and actors Morris Burton and Eric Mourer.

We have learned a lot through all the seminars we attended and the people we have met.

The results:

With all these new possibilities come new responsibilities, mainly, the need for Roman Pictures to work with dedicated and responsible local actors that wish to go to the next level.

Fortunately, I have my A-List of actors plus some new actors that have joined me and are very promising.

My production Team (comprised of 21 people so far), with actors and professionals that have believed in me for many years, are working very hard at making sure Roman Pictures productions stand out with high production values and also by helping bring my ideas to life.

One of the praises I received from the distributor and other industry people was, how I was able to come up with out-of-the-box ideas, considering Hollywood writers and indie producers seem to revolve around the same old ideas, formulas and the old remakes.

Getting ready for the NY Premiere September 18 to 25. Need to know who is going to join us, so that I can reserve tickets for you. Email me ASAP as festival tickets go fast.

Signals Director's cut, 135 minutes on Double layer DVD, will be on sale soon but ONLY to Roman Pictures members and not to the general public, as the distributor is working on various venues and we are working on the possibilities of a Webisode. Netflix and Blockbuster are the LAST venue a movie goes to, after all others are exhausted. Especially with Signals, since it is open ended. Later the 120 minute version will be available to the general public.

Time Refugees (www.timerefugeesmovie.com) is in pre-production with a cast to be announced shortly.

My partner Lew Fraga and I have made a commitment to make Time Refugees is the movie that will take us to the next level.

With an idea that blew industry people away, Time Refugees will be a movie my actors will be proud to be part of, mark my words.

Saul Cizek is designing the life-size one person fighters and the transporter ships.

Lew Fraga will take care of all digital animations and Henry Hickerson will handle all props and futuristic weaponry.

Elisabetta Canova will be attending advanced classes in NY in September that will give her training on special effects makeup and make up for HD.

Edward Bach will handle all web related design and publicity plus drawing of story boards with the help of Henry Hickerson

Tom Russo (now in Iraq until June) is in charge of obtaining military training locations with the help of former-Marine Kevin Sylvain.

Jennifer Green joined us and showed immediately her "energetic" approach to getting things done. She's in charge of location scouting, among other things.

Sharon Carpenter-Rose, publicity research, location scouting and my right hand person.

Some newcomers to our team: Greg Coale, a seasoned actor and good friend. He will be in charge of talent scouting (He probably knows who is reliable and definitely knows what I'm looking for)

Phil Jones, our lawyer and very good friend. He will be in charge of gathering locations.

Teresa Alfonso who is also an actress, she will be helping us with scientific terminology and research.

Other members of the production team: Benjamin Boger - Alex Emdadi - Brandon DeGroat - Garrett Melich - Kendra North - Pablo Rodriguez - Tracy Roman -
